Our Purpose
Everyone at Community Access & Supportive Services, Inc. is committed to helping adults and children in need. Our compassionate members provide outreach services to people in Richmond, Virginia, and the surrounding areas.
Before we work with someone, they are prescreened. We don't set the criteria that each individual must meet. These standards are set by the establishments that sponsor our cause. We use different criteria to match people with the right company or group based on their needs.
Building a Network of Reliable Donators and Sponsors
To ensure we're able to provide local families with useful services and items, we accept donations from other businesses and nonprofit organizations throughout our area. We collaborate with them to get virtually unlimited resources to our community.
Donations
Make a contribution to our organization today. Please keep in mind that all donations are tax deductible and returned in whole to the community. Donations can be made over the phone, through email, or online. We accept all types of donations, including:

Furniture
Eviction Assistance
Educational Assistance

Medical Insurance Support
Housing Assistance
Our members work with the homeless community. We help families by providing them temporary, transitional, and permanent housing, as well as mental health support. Each person we work with is set up with a caseworker to help them cope with different challenges.
Legal Support
If you need to talk with an attorney about a case, let us assist you. We're associated with different legal firms who specialize in pro bono work. Our team will connect you with the right company to help you with your specific case.
Financial Assistance
We understand that sometimes life happens and money gets tight. This may cause you to get behind on your rent or utilities. However, when you turn to our organization, we may be able to help you get your finances back on track. We provide individuals with much-needed funding, based on availability.
Volunteers
We are always looking for outreach coordinators and other volunteers to help make our program a success. As a volunteer, you don't have to follow a set schedule or handle any special requirements.
